1. Only the vessel named in the lease agreement may occupy the pen. You are not allowed to sublet the pen to any other single owner, without permission in writing from Hastings Jetty Pen Users Group.
2. You will have to have insurance including $10M Public Liability for your vessel.
3. If you need to leave the pen for a long period of time (travel interstate, etc.) you must contact the company in writing.
4. All mooring lines made up by the owner must suit the size of the vessel.
5. Two lines are required on each side at the end of the vessel facing East.
6. Extension cords should not be left permanently plugged in. Electricity can only be used intermittently or an extra charge of $15 per week for ‘liveaboards’ will be charged.
7. Any damage caused by the occupying vessel on entering or leaving the pen must be repaired at the cost of the occupier.
8. Occupier on vacating the pen must give at least one month’s notice.
9. On payment of the account and signing a copy of the lease, a transfer to your name of one share in the company will be initiated and a key/fob to the jetty will be provided.
10. On the withdrawal of your share in the company, due to the sale of your boat/share, you will be paid back the once only fee minus changeover fee and any other outstanding charges.
11. Occupier is required to maintain mooring lines, steel slides, springs, fastening and shackles/rings in good order at all times. When steelwork repairs are needed, Hastings Jetty Pen Users Group will supply steel components on request and free of charge and assistance will be provided if needed.
